Removing and installing, sealing or replacing
oil pan ( M50 to 9 / 92 )

Note:

Engine must be lifted to remove the oil pan.

Drain engine oil.

Remove complete exhaust system.

Lift engine hood into assembly position and remove firewall (air
manifold).

These operations are described in the work step "Removing wiper
bracket".

Caution!

Once the engine hood is lifted into assembly position, do not
actuate the windshield wipers.

Remove complete air guide for alternator.

Remove suction filter with air-flow sensor.
