3 Series E36 323i (M52) CONVER
Pull right cap (1) off and pull wire fold ejector (2) to left to remove.
Installation:
Route cable (1) between wire fold ejector (2) and clamping
belt (3).
Unfasten screws and remove headlining from rear of clamping
bracket.

Retaining plate (riveted to headlining)

Convertible top cover
On bracket (over rear window), lift out clip (1) in center and
unfasten left/right screws (2).
Note:
Unfasten screws (2) with reversible handle and screwdriver
insert.
For the version with a metal bow (above rear window),
position (1) is also a screw, but with a washer.
