Replacing idle speed control valve (M50,
S50US)
Interrogate fault memory of DME control unit.
Switch off ignition.
After checking engine idling speed in 13 00 054
or
13 00 060
or after checking function of Digital Motor Electronics,
refer to 13 00 002
Loosen hose clamp.
Remove bellows (1).
Pull off idling speed hose (2) and hose (3).
S50US: Removing and installing manifold for intake air,
refer to 11 61 050
Disconnect coolant hose.
Compress retainer and plug off connector (4).
Unclip and pull out hose (5).
RA Replacing idle speed control valve (M50, S50US)
