3 Series E36 325tds (M51) TOUR
Unclip oil lines for power steering unit from bracket on engine
support and place to one side.
Fit special tool 00 0 206 to engine mounting.
Attach special tool 00 0 200 to front suspension lug on engine
and lift engine approx. 5 mm.
Brace front axle support with special tool 00 2 030 in
conjunction with special tool 31 2 220.
Unscrew engine mountings on bottom left and right.
Note:
Unfasten left and right control arm from engine carrier. When
lowering front subframe, do not remove steering box from
subframe.
Unfasten screw connection on front axle support and lower the
front axle support.
