Replacing control module (VANOS) (S50 B30)
Read fault memory.
Switch off ignition.
Remove container for intensive cleaning fluid (1) and place to one
side.
Remove coolant expansion container (2) and place to one side.
Note:
Coolant hoses remain connected.
Remove soundproofing sheet.
Release screws and remove cover.
Installation:
Fit rubber grommets to apertures to positive battery lead,
correctly aligned with apertures (1) and (2).
No water leaks!
