3 Series E36 M3 (S50) SAL
Open expansion tank (1) and reservoir (2) and draw hydraulic fluid
out of both containers.
Installation:
Fill expansion tank (1) with hydraulic fluid
(Pentosin CHF 11S).
Slacken bleed plug (3) on supply tank (2) and wait until
hydraulic fluid emerges at bleed plug (3).
The filling procedure can be sped up if the expansion tank (1)
is pumped up a little with special tools 21 5 010 and
17 0 002.
Close bleed plug (3).
Fill expansion tank (1) up to max. mark (dipstick (4) on cap).
Remove heater bulkhead,
refer to 61 61 270.
Remove splash guard.
Remove complete exhaust system,
refer to 18 00 020.
Remove bracket (1) for splash guard.
