3 Series E46 318ti (N42) COMP
Important!
The engine is secured in the special tool bore with special
tool 11 9 190 / 11 5 140 .
Special tool 11 9 190 /11 5 140 may be used for gripping
in order to tighten down central bolt (1) to a tightening torque
of 60 Nm.
A tightening torque exceeding 60 Nm will result in damage to
special tool 11 9 190 /11 5 140 and the engine block.
Tighten down central bolt (1) to initial torque of 60 Nm.
Install both solenoid valves.
Install upper screw of chain guide (1) and fit without play.
Install lower screw of chain guide and tighten down.
Tighten down upper screw of chain guide (1).
