Checking all glow plugs (M47, M57)
Read fault memory of DDE control unit.
Switch off ignition.
For the test to be carried out properly, the battery voltage
must be greater than 9 V. Charge battery if necessary.
Release screws (1).
Remove cover from electronics box.
Installation:
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 12 90 4AZ.
Disconnect plug connection (1) at glow plug relay (2).
Warning!
Danger of injury and fire!
Do not operate glow plugs when removed!
It is not possible to ensure that heat will dissipate correctly
from glow plugs!
