3 Series E90 316i (N43) SAL
Release screw (2).
Important!
Nut (1) has a left-hand thread!
Release nut (1) on oil pump sprocket wheel.
Installation:
Tightening torque 11 41 7AZ
Push clamping rail (4) towards rear and secure with special tool
11 3 340 .
Release screw connection (3) of guide rail to oil pump.
Note:
Chain tensioner (1) is secured with a pin (2).
Detach chain tensioner (1) from locking pin (2).
Press and hold down lug (1).
Pull guide rail (2) downwards.
Remove sprocket wheel (3) from oil pump drive shaft.
