Removing and installing/replacing relay for
glow elements (M57TU, M57T2)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Read out fault memory of DDE control unit; if necessary, work
through test schedules
•
Switch off ignition
•
Disconnect battery negative lead
Release plug connector (1) and pull off.
Unlock and detach plug connection (3).
Unscrew nuts (2).
Remove preheating relay (4).
Note:
For purposes of clarity, illustration shows coolant hoses removed.
Check function of DDE.
