Removing and installing or replacing left or
right belt handover

Necessary preliminary tasks:

•

Remove rear side trim panel

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Unscrew nuts (2).

Tightening torque  72 11 07AZ

.

Note:

If the screw head spins, hold the head in the lateral position with a
pair of pliers. The screws must be replaced each time they are
removed as the applied screw securing adhesive can only be
used once.

Belt handover: 

1. 

must be swung out in direction of arrow and

2. 

fed out of side trim panel.

Installation:

Insert sleeves (1) correctly into rubber mount (2).
