5 Series E39 525tds (M51) TOUR
Attach special tool 11 0 020 at engine.
Front and rear suspension arrangement
Unfasten nuts on top left and right engine mounts and loosen the
bottom ones.
Carefully lift out engine.
Note:
A removed engine with installed HVA ( hydraulic valve
compensation) elements must not be left upside down for
longer than 10 minutes, as otherwise HVA elements will lose
hydraulic fluid and no longer function correctly.
