Caution!
Do not heat side wall in area of
C-pillar foam as this would
damage the second cavity bulkhead in the C-pillar!
Remove scrap metal. Straighten and grind joint surfaces.
Adjust the replacement part to fit, determine and mark the
separating point.
Remove the replacement part.
Separate the replacement part.
Manufacture reinforcement plate for cover of side member and
adjust to fit.
Reinforcement plate width = approx. 60 mm
Drill the holes for the plug welding of the reinforcement plate in the
body.
