5 Series E39 530d (M57) SAL
Release clamps (1).
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 65 10AZ.
Remove charge air hoses (2 and 3) completely with charge air
pipe.
Caution!
Fit charge air hoses without grease and dry.
Release screws (1) on turbocharger.
Remove bracket for pressure converter and vacuum unit.
Installation:
Layout of vacuum hoses,
refer to 11 74 ...
Remove ribbed V-belt for A/C compressor,
refer to 11 28 050.
Remove ribbed V-belt for alternator,
refer to 11 28 010.
Remove connector (1).
Release screws (2) on compressor.
Tie compressor (2) back to one side.
