Alignment brackets

Situation:
The alignment bracket fixtures for the E39 were presented in Service Information bulletin 5
02 95 (995).
Please refer to Service Information bulletin 5 02 95 (995).
For reasons of acoustics, the rear axle mounts on E39/530d saloon vehicles have been
modified.
Depending on the equipment fitted, the hydro mount of the E39 touring has been fitted to all
four rear axle fastening points on some of the above vehicles.
1 = Hydro mount
On all other vehicles, a 3mm spacer is installed between the rear axle bearing and the
thrust washer.
1 = Axle mounting bolt
2 = Thrust washer
3 = Spacer
Assembly without drive units remains unchanged.
Steps for CELETTE straightening angle fixtures (716.300)
Mounting points 21, 22, 26 and 27 are affected.
If hydro mounts are fitted, mounts 55 to 58 of the E39 touring alignment bracket fixture set
