Replacing fan cowl (S62)
Remove and install fan impeller with fan clutch.
Remove and install upper section of intake filter housing on right.
The following work steps are shown using the E39 as an example.
The same procedure applies to the E52.
Lever out expansion rivets (1) of coolant expansion tank.
Release hose clamps (2).
Place coolant expansion tank to one side.
Lever expansion rivets (1) out of fan cowl.
Detach sealing strip (2).
