7 Series E65 745d (M67TU) SAL
Important!
Do not allow timing chain (1) to drop into engine block.
Raise timing chain.
Install sprocket wheel (2).
Insert screws (1).
Installation:
Screw (3) can only be inserted later.
Replace sealing ring (1).
Insert chain tensioner (1) and tighten down.
Tightening torque: 11 31 4AZ

Important!
The timing is incorrectly set if bolts (1 and 3) are tightened
down without the chain tensioner fitted.
Tighten down screws (1).
Tightening torque: 11 31 1AZ
