6. Remove the outside door handle (1) and the rod (2) from the door. 

Installation Procedure

1. Install the outside door handle (1) and the rod (2) to the door. 
2. Install the outside door handle. Refer to Front Side Door Outside Handle Replacement   (See: Front Door/Front Door Handle/Front Door Exterior

Handle/Service and Repair).
