8. Verify that the transmission control lever is functioning properly by placing the transmission control lever in (P) Park, (R) Reverse, (N) Neutral,

and (D) Drive. The IP display should display the appropriate transmission control lever selection.

If the transmission control lever functions properly, proceed to Step 9.

If the transmission control lever does NOT function properly, the adjustment clip is NOT fully engaged. Re-perform Steps 7-8.

9. Install the control lever knob, boot and indicator bezel. Refer to Automatic Transmission Control Indicator Bezel Replacement and Transmission
