Park Avenue V6-3.8L SC VIN 1 (2005)
6. Install the defroster duct screws.
Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (23 lb in).
7. Install the defroster duct to front of dash mounting nut.
Tighten the nut to 9 N.m (65 lb in).
8. Install the I/P assembly.
9. Connect the heater hoses to the heater core using the J 38185.
10. Install the new O-rings to the evaporator hose and the accumulator tube.
11. Install the evaporator hose and the accumulator tube to the evaporator.
12. Install the evaporator hose nut to the evaporator.
Tighten the nut to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).
13. Evacuate and recharge the air conditioning (A/C) system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
14. Leak test the fittings of the A/C component using the J 39400-A.
15. Fill the engine cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Cooling System.
