Using a block of wood approximately 12" long, position a smooth side against the molding as shown in Figure 1.

Use a rubber mallet to tap the wood block and tighten the molding at the door trim pad. Too much force could tighten the molding too much or
damage it.
5.
Reposition the wood block as shown in Figure 2. Again, use the mallet to reshape the molding.
Alternating the wood positions may be required to achieve the proper molding position.
