FUEL PIPES
All fuel supply and return pipe connections, except at the fuel rail, are made with O-ring connections. In order to tighten these fittings properly, a
back-up wrench is required.
CAUTION: The fuel supply, fuel return, and vapor collection pipes are coated welded steel tubing. All of the fuel supply and return pipe
connections, except at the fuel rail, are made with O-ring connections. If the connection is not tightened to the correct torque of 27-34 Nm (20-25
lb.ft), the connection may come loose and a fuel leak will occur.
