Spark Plug: Service and Repair
Spark Plug Replacement (Left Side Sank)
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
TOOLS REQUIRED
J 42068 Spark Plug Centering Sleeve
CAUTION: Before servicing any electrical component, the ignition key must be in the OFF or LOCK position and all electrical loads must be OFF,
unless instructed otherwise in these procedures. if a tool or equipment could easily come in contact with a live exposed electrical terminal, also
disconnect the negative battery cable. Failure to follow these precaution may cause personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or Its components.
NOTE: Pull on the spark plug boot, the heat shield or use an approved spark plug boot removal tool, twisting a half-turn to release the seal while
removing. Do not pull on the spark plug wire or it may be damaged.
Spark Plug Replacement (Left Side Bank): Removal Procedure
1. Remove the oil filler tube.
2. Remove the A/C compressor hose bracket bolt from engine.
3. Reposition the A/C compressor hose.
4. Remove the bolts from wiring harness channel.
5. Reposition the wiring harness channel.

6. Remove the spark plug boots from spark plugs.
