3. Install the park brake cable to the park brake cable bracket (1).
4. Ensure the locking tabs are properly seated.
5. Connect the rear park brake cable (2) to the park brake actuator lever (3).
6. Connect the left parking brake rear cable (1) or the right parking brake rear cable (2) to the connector.
7. Install the exhaust system. Refer to Exhaust System Insulator, Hanger, Bracket Replacement (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Exhaust
System/Exhaust Pipe/Muffler Hanger/Service and Repair/Exhaust System Insulator, Hanger, Bracket Replacement).
8. Install the rear tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (See: Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Service and
Repair).
9. Set the electric park brake cable tension. Refer to Parking Brake Cable Adjuster Enabling (Electric Park Brake) (See: Procedures/Parking Brake
Cable Adjuster Enabling (Electric Park Brake)).
10. Lower the vehicle.
