CTS Wagon RWD V6-3.6L (2010)
1. Position the fuel pipe shield behind the high pressure fuel pump. Take care not to damage the insulation behind the shield.
2. Install the fuel pipe shield to cylinder bolt (1). Hand tighten at this time.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
3. Install the fuel pipe shield to intake manifold bolts (1).
1. Tighten the fuel pipe shield to manifold bolts to 23 Nm (17 lb ft).
2. Tighten the fuel pipe shield to head bolt to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
4. Instal the wiper transmission. Refer to Windshield Wiper Transmission Replacement (See: Wiper and Washer Systems/Wiper Gear Box/Service
and Repair).
5. Install the fuel injection sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (LP1, LY7) (See: Fuel Injector/Service and Repair/Fuel

6. Install the cross vehicle brace. Refer to Cross Vehicle Brace Replacement (See: Body and Frame/Frame/Cross-Member/Service and Repair).
