Condition
Some customers may comment on a front/rear heated seat back/cushion that is not operating properly.
Cause
This condition may be due to a non-functioning heat element in a front/rear heated seat back/cushion.
The heat seats system in a 2000 and 2001 Cadillac DeVille consists of 4 heated seats, 2 in the front and 2 in the rear. On the DTS and DHS models each
heated seat consists of 4 heat elements; 1 in the seat back and 3 in the seat cushion. On the DeVille model, each heated seat consists of 2 heat elements; 1
in the seat back and 1 in the seat cushion.
