Front Door Interior Handle: Service and Repair

Door Handle Replacement - Front Inside

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door  (See: Front Door Panel/Service and Repair) .

2. Remove the three fasteners attaching the inside door handle to the door trim panel.
3. Remove the inside door handle from the door trim panel.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the inside door handle through the door trim panel.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the 3 inside door handle fasteners.

Tighten the three fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door  (See: Front Door Panel/Service and Repair) .
