Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Rear

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the seat back. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear (1st Design )  (See: Seat Back Replacement - Rear (1st  Design ))Seat Back

Replacement - Rear (2nd Design)  (See: Seat Back Replacement - Rear (2nd Design)) .

2. Remove the head restraints on DHS models. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement - Rear Seat (DHS)  (See: Head Rest/Service and Repair/Head

3. Remove the pass-through pocket. Refer to Seat Back Pass Through Replacement  (See: Seat Back Pass Through Replacement) .
4. Remove the heated seat modules. Refer to Heated Seat Control Module Replacement - Rear. See: Seat Heater Control Module/Service and Repair
5. Remove the hog rings and J channels retaining the seat back cover (1) to the seat frame.
6. Pull the seat back cover (1) and the cushion (2) from the frame.
7. Remove the hog rings from the ditches on the seat back foam pad in order to release the seat cover from the seat foam pad.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the seat back cover to the foam pad.
2. Press the seams down into the ditches on the foam pad, and install hog rings, in order to retain the seat cover to the foam pad.
3. Position the foam cushion (2) and pad to the seat back frame.
4. Work the cover edges over the foam cushion .
5. Install the hog rings and J channels in order to retain the rear seat back cover and foam pad to the seat back frame.
6. Install the pass-through pocket to the seat back. Refer toSeat Back Pass Through Replacement  (See: Seat Back Pass Through Replacement) .
7. Install the heated seat modules. Refer to Heated Seat Control Module Replacement - Rear. See: Seat Heater Control Module/Service and Repair
8. Install the seat back. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear (1st Design )  (See: Seat Back Replacement - Rear (1st  Design ))Seat Back

9. Install the head restraints, on DHS models. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement - Rear Seat (DHS)  (See: Head Rest/Service and Repair/Head
