2. Install the molding to the pillar:
1. Align the fasteners with the slots in the pillar.
2. Press firmly until the fasteners are fully seated.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
3. Install the bolts that retain the assist handle to the pillar.
Tighten the bolts that retain the assist handle to the pillar to 8 Nm (71 lb.in.).
4. Install the front passenger's seat belt upper retainer. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Shoulder Belt Guide Adjuster Replacement in Seat Belts.
5. Install the retaining screws.
Tighten the retaining screws to 2 Nm (18 lb.in.).

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the screws that retain the panel to the cowl side.
2. Remove the trim panel from the vehicle.
