Shift Solenoid: Service and Repair
TCC PWM Solenoid, TCC Solenoid, and Wiring Harness

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Tools Required:

J 28458 Power Piston Seal Protector and Diaphragm Retainer Installer

1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
2. Remove the RH muffler assembly. 
3. Remove the transmission oil pan and the filter. 

4. Disconnect the transmission harness 20-way connector from the transmission internal harness pass-through connector. Depress both tabs on the

connector and pull straight up; do not pry the connector.

5. Remove the 1-2 accumulator cover bolts.
