Hydraulic Hose: Service and Repair
Hydraulic Hose Replacement (Clutch Master Cylinder)
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the clutch master cylinder and the reservoir.
2. Remove the roll-pin (1) retaining the hose to the master cylinder using a small drift or punch.
3. Remove the hydraulic hose from the master cylinder.
4. Drain off the excess fluid from the master cylinder into the container.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the new clutch master cylinder hose to the clutch master cylinder. Check the new O-ring seal for proper placement on the master cylinder
hose.
2. Install the master cylinder hose roll-pin retainer (1) using a small drift or punch.
3. Rotate the master cylinder hose to ensure freedom of movement.
4. Install the clutch master cylinder and the reservoir.
