Express 2500 V8-6.6L DSL Turbo (2010)
4. Remove the J-44643 - tool then rotate the engine to align the timing marks.
5. Reinstall the J-44643 - tool.
6. Install the camshaft into the cylinder block, align the camshaft gear to the crankshaft gear as shown.
7. Apply threadlock to the threads of the camshaft thrust plate bolts (1). Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (See:
Specifications/Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers) for the correct part number.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
8. Install the camshaft thrust plate bolts (1) and tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb ft).
