Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement (Stabilizer Shaft Link)

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. 
2. Remove the rear stabilizer shaft link bolt/screw (5)
3. Remove the rear stabilizer shaft link to bracket bolt/screw (4).
4. Remove the link (6) from the bracket (9).
5. Remove the link (6) from the stabilizer shaft (10).

Installation Procedure 

NOTICE:  Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be correct part number for that application. Fasteners
requiring replacement of fasteners requiring thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints,
lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping
force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to
parts and system.

1. Install the link (6) to the stabilizer shaft (10). 

Tighten

Tighten the stabilizer shaft link to stabilizer shaft bolt/screw (5) to 70 N.m (52 ft. lbs.).

2. Install the link (6) to the bracket (9).
3. Install the rear stabilizer shaft link to body bracket bolt/screw (4). 

Tighten 
-

Tighten the stabilizer shaft link to body bracket bolt/screw to 48 N.m (35 ft. lbs.).

4. Lower the vehicle.
