Wheel Speed Sensor: Service and Repair
Wheel Speed Sensor Jumper Harness Replacement (Rear)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE 

1. Disconnect the Negative (-) battery cable.
2. Remove the Rear seat cushion.
3. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor jumper to harness connector.
4. Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable hoist.
5. Disconnect the rear wheel speed electrical connector.
6. Remove three bolts retaining jumper harness to vehicle.
7. Remove jumper harness (2) and grommet from vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE 

1. Install jumper harness and grommet to vehicle.
2. Install three bolts that retain the jumper harness (2) to the vehicle.

Tighten the jumper harness retaining bolts to 8 Nm (70.8 inch lbs.). 

NOTICE: Refer to Service Precautions.

3. Connect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Connect the wheel speed sensor jumper to harness connector.
6. Install rear seat cushion.
7. Connect the Negative (-) battery cable.
8. Perform "Diagnostic System Check".
