Removal Procedure

J34866 Wheel Hub Remover

J2619-01 Slide Hammer

J6627-A Wheel Stud Remover

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
3. Remove the brake drum. Refer to Brake Drum Replacement in Drum Brakes.

4. Remove the 4 rear axle shaft retaining nuts (2).

5. Pull the rear flange (1) out partially in order to access the wheel studs using the J34866 with the J2619-01. Refer to Axle Shaft Replacement in

Rear Drive Axle.

6. Use the J6627-A in order to remove the wheel stud.
