Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement (With Power Windows)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear side door window. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement  (See: Window Glass/Rear Door Window Glass/Service and

Repair) .

2. Remove the 3 plastic retainers which secure the rear side door window regulator wiring to the front side door.
3. Disconnect the rear side door window regulator electrical connector.
4. Remove the 6 nuts (1, 2) which secure the front side door window regulator (5).
5. Remove the window regulator (5) through the large opening in the inner portion of the rear side door.

Installation Procedure

1. Apply a multipurpose grease to the specified points.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the rear side door window regulator (5) through the large opening in the inner portion of the rear side door. Secure the regulator to the door

with the 6 nuts (1, 2).

Tighten the rear side door window regulator nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
