Fuel Tank Vent: Service and Repair
FILL LIMITER VENT VALVE REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the fuel tank.
2. Remove the vapor hose from the fuel tank vent valve.
3. Remove the four fasteners from the fuel tank vent valve (1).
4. Remove the fuel tank vent valve (1) and the gasket (2) from the fuel tank.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the fuel tank vent valve (1) and the gasket (2) to the fuel tank.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Secure the fuel tank vent valve (1) to the fuel tank with the four fasteners.
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 3.5 N.m (30 lb in).
3. Connect the vapor hose to the fuel tank vent valve.
4. Install the fuel tank.
