Transmission Auxiliary Oil Pump - Installation

INSTALLATION

1. Install a NEW gasket to the transmission auxiliary oil pump.
2. Install the transmission auxiliary oil pump and four bolts. Tighten bolts to 11 Nm (8 ft. lb).

3. Install the bolt (1) attaching the transmission auxiliary oil pump harness (2) to the transmission bellhousing (3). Tighten the bolt (1) to 11 Nm (8 ft.

lbs.).

4. Connect the transmission auxiliary oil pump electrical connector.
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Check the transmission fluid level and fill the transmission with DEXRON(R) VI ATF as necessary.   See: Service and Repair/Procedures 
7. Using a scan tool, run the transmission auxiliary oil pump for at least one minute to prime the pump.
