vehicle components and circuits is relayed quickly to the appropriate module(s). Each module receives the same information about a component or
circuit as another module does. This significantly reduces the complexity of the wiring in the vehicle and the size of wiring harnesses.

All of the information about the functioning of all of the systems is organized, controlled, and communicated by the "CCD bus," which is described in
the following sections.

Traveler

The Traveler module is located in the dash just right of the steering column (same location as the EVIC panel). It provides the driver with navigational
information such as average fuel economy, instant fuel economy, distance to empty (DTE), estimated time (ET), and trip odometer (ODO).

The Traveler receives messages about fuel and odometer information from the body and engine controllers via the CCD bus.
