PT Cruiser L4-2.4L (2008)

1. Recover the refrigerant from the refrigerant system See: Service and Repair/Refrigerant System Recovery.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the splash shield from the right side frame rail See: Body and Frame/Splash Guard/Service and Repair/Removal.
4. Remove the nut that secures the A/C liquid line (2) to the A/C condenser (lower port) (1).
5. Disconnect the A/C liquid line from the A/C condenser and remove and discard the O-ring seal.
6. Install plugs in, or tape over the opened liquid line fitting and the condenser port.
7. Lower the vehicle.
8. Remove the nut (2) that secures the A/C liquid line (outboard fitting) (4) to the accumulator tube tapping block (1).
9. Disconnect the A/C liquid line from the accumulator tube tapping block and remove and discard the O-ring seal.
10. Install plugs in, or tape over the opened liquid line fitting and the accumulator tube tapping block port.
11. Remove the A/C liquid line from the engine compartment.
