Rear Drum Brake Vehicles
REAR DRUM BRAKE VEHICLES
NOTE: Before proceeding, See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings .
1. Raise and support the vehicle. See: Wheels and Tires/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair
2. Remove the wheel mounting nuts (3), then the rear tire and wheel assembly (1).
3. Remove the brake drum retaining clips (5), then the drum (6). See: Brakes and Traction Control/Drum Brake System/Brake Drum/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal
4. Remove the dust cap (4) from the hub and bearing (7).
5. Remove the hub nut (3), then slide the hub and bearing (7) from the spindle (10).
