Insert a tapered pin or drift (see Figure 1) into the inlet fitting of the catalyst air distribution tube (see Figure 2).

Enlarge end of tube by striking the drift pin (caution should be exercised so as not to distort the the catalyst tube end) with a hammer until an
interference fit occurs between the air distribution tube and catalyst air tube fitting (see Figure 2).

Reinstall air injection delivery tube.

4.

Tap catalyst lightly with a rubber mallet to insure the rattle is not present.

5.

If rattle is still present, repeat Items 1-4 until rattle has been eliminated.
