Catalytic Converter: Description and Operation
DESCRIPTION
The close coupled, three-way catalytic converter inlets are connected to the exhaust manifolds by the use of a ball flange. RWD vehicles use a flex joint
downstream of the LH and RH catalytic converters. The left (3) and right (1) side converter outlet pipe connects to the exhaust system.
