Repair Procedure B

Repair the source (s) of wind noise (s) as follows:

1.

If clearance was found at the front of the door opening at the A-pillar, remove the foam tape from the front windshield side molding (Figure 13).
Remove the foam tape and clean any residue remaining from the windshield side molding. Install the new foam tape on the windshield molding
using 3M Primer # 500 for a stronger bond.

2.

If excessive clearance was found at the front edge of the door opening, remove the outer door weatherstrip. Install the revised weatherstrips
available through the parts system under the existing part number.
