Install shift tower boot (Figure 2) and tighten clamp.

Install inner shift boot (Figure 1).
10.
Install shift lever and torque to 41 N-m (30 ft.lbs.), making sure that the lever seats fully on the stub shifter.
11.
Install outer shift boot (Figure 1).
12.
Road test vehicle to verify correct operation of shifter mechanism.
