Before installing the replacement antenna, apply Silicon Rubber Adhesive Sealant (PN 4318025) to seal the area between the top of the foam
sleeve surrounding the female fitting and the coaxial cable (Figure 1).

Install the power antenna as described in the appropriate service manual. Check for improved radio reception on weak AM radio stations before
complete reassembly of the vehicle.
