Ride Height Sensor: Testing and Inspection

If sensor signal(s) are missing, proceed as follows:

1. Check ground circuit continuity as follows:

a. For front ground circuit continuity, check circuit S33.
b. For rear ground circuit continuity, X20 circuit S33.

2. If a open circuit is indicated, repair as necessary.
3. If continuity is indicated, replace the applicable strut or right rear shock absorber. 

NOTE:  Complete circuit testing and check connectors before replacing a strut or right rear shock absorber.

4. To measure resistance values, refer to Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Electronic Level Control/Testing and Inspection/Flow of

Diagnosis noting the following:
a. Height sensor signals must be verified using an ohmmeter to measure resistance.
