5. Install the main bearing caps (1,2,3,5) and bolts. Tighten bolts to 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.) plus 1/4 turn.

NOTE: Install new cross bolt and washer assembly upon reassembly.

6. Install and tighten the NEW cross bolts and washer assemblies (8) to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.).
7. Position and install the connecting rod and bearing caps on the crankshaftSee: Connecting Rod Bearing/Service and Repair.
8. Install the crankshaft rear oil sealSee: Crankshaft Seal Retainer/Service and Repair/Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Retainer - Installation
9. Install the crankshaft sprocketSee: Timing Components/Timing Chain/Service and Repair/Timing Chain & Sprockets - Installation.

10. Install the timing chain and camshaft sprocketSee: Timing Components/Timing Chain/Service and Repair/Timing Chain & Sprockets - Installation
