Locate the nylon vacuum harness behind the valve cover on the left side of the engine.

Remove the vacuum cap at the nylon "tee" and install a 4" piece of 3/16" vacuum hose onto the exposed vacuum nipple. Connect the other
end of the vacuum hose to the diverter valve nipple.

Locate the nylon vacuum harness behind the valve cover at the left side of the engine. Separate the vacuum hose serving the ESA module
(computer) from the nylon vacuum "tee" (Figure 2).
7.
Insert the straight vacuum connector, PN 4104998, into the end of the vacuum hose serving the ESA module.
8.
Cut the manifold vacuum hose supplying the choke pull-off where the vacuum hose exits from under the air cleaner assembly.
