2-4 BAND

1. Remove valve body, refer to Transmission and Drivetrain/Auto Transmission/Transaxle/Valve Body/Service and Repair. 
2. Remove band adjusting shim, and measure its thickness.
3. Using a feeler gauge, check clearance between band pin nut and case, Fig. 4. Install suitable shim to obtain .049-.059 inch (1.25-1.50 mm)

clearance between nut and pin.

4. Install valve body, refer to COMPONENT R&R PROCEDURES/VALVE BODY.
